Response-Ability celebrates our volunteers who will "LEAD THE WAY" in the classroom this year. Happy Back-to-School.
Mission A ministry of the Society of the Holy Child Jesus grounded in Cornelia Connelly's educational philosophy, Response-Ability trains, coaches and inspires innovative volunteers to provide quality education and service in inner city schools and international sites. Living in community, volunteers achieve spiritual, personal and professional growth.
Adopt-a-Teacher It costs $140 a day to have a RA teacher provide quality education to children of poverty. Consider giving a one time gift of $140 or $12/month to sponsor a day.

History The Society of the Holy Child Jesus founded Response-Ability to provide an opportunity for lay people to join the Society's ministry of serving the poor as a faith community. Since 1974, Response-Ability has remained committed to service and community. Focusing on the needs in education, RA launched its volunteer teaching program in 1993 in Philadelphia and continues to provide quality education and service in the Holy Child spirit.
